Billy and Nick have distinct styles and approaches to photography and instruction that will familiarize Photo Face Off participants to a number of aspects of photography. In this forum, attendees will be exposed to a number of elements of photography to include vision, subject interaction, camera techniques, digital workflow and other facets of photography through informal lecture and group discussion.

Billy and Nick will inject their personal styles into the various sections of the workshop where they excel. Billy has an unmistakeable creativity that is well-balanced by Nick's technical expertise.

The goal of the Photo Face Off is to provide each student with a small taste of the larger world of photography and it is our hope that participants will be inspired to get out there to expand their skill set and connect further with the community of photographers in Charlottesville.

Who Should Attend:
All levels are welcome; however, the curriculum is geared toward aspiring photographers.

What You Should Know:
Just photography basics; our workshop will be more conceptual, and is tailored to a large audience.

What to Bring:
Just a pen and a pad, and a great attitude! Cameras optional.

Dates and Registration:
At this time we are only offering one workshop in 2010. There will be a networking event hosted from 1:30 - 1:50 p.m. at OpenSpace and a reception following the event at South Street Brewery.

Tuition:
$100.00 payable through the Charlottesville Photography Meetup Group website. If you purchase a ticket before May 20th, you will receive 15% off registration. Any reservations made past May 20th will be at full price.
